Newspapers are living textbooks of our times, and today's young readers will be tomorrow's world leaders.
The Youth Editorial Alliance is an advocate for youth voices in the news media. We're committed to high quality newspaper content which addresses their concerns.
Among the goals of the Youth Editorial Alliance (YEA):

encourage youth to become lifelong news media consumers

educate and support youth content providers and young journalists

Promote the viability of youth programs

train young journalists for careers in the industry

create an information clearinghouse on youth initiatives at papers throughout the United States and the world

provide networking and professional development for those producing or overseeing the creation of youth content

The Newspaper Association of America (NAA) Foundation is dedicated to encouraging young people to use and appreciate the power of newspapers. Under the umbrella of the NAA Foundation, YEA seeks to bring greater industry focus on youth-oriented content and products, and to aid in the creation of these vital materials.
