Summary: Interested in stretching resources to develop NIE projects with impact and reach?  In 2010 both the Sun Sentinel in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and The Seattle Times partnered with outside organizations and other newspapers to accomplish just that. The Sun-Sentinel project educated students about an environmental disaster while The Seattle Times partnered with a federal agency. Projects were used beyond the originating newspaper’s market.
